Maheshwari Vidya Pracharak Mandal (MVPM) was founded on a shared vision of growth, progress, and collective upliftment within the Maheshwari community. In 1929, three visionary leaders – Shri Rao Bahadur Hanmantaramji Rathi, Shri Laxminarayanji Jaju, and Shri Kishanlalji Lahoti – envisioned an organisation that would extend opportunity, education, and guidance to every household.

Their belief was rooted in the idea that education and mentorship should be accessible to all, without barriers of geography or circumstance. This vision gave rise to Maheshwari Vidya Pracharak Mandal, an institution built on faith, community participation, and a deep sense of social responsibility. The foundation laid by the founders continues to guide MVPM’s direction and purpose even decades later.

Since its inception, MVPM has remained committed to nurturing education and empowering individuals through structured institutions, residential facilities, and student support initiatives. The principles established by the founders – sincerity, service, and collective progress – remain central to the organisation’s work today.
