While the Maheshwari community is widely recognized for its leadership in business, industry, and trade, it has also produced remarkable academic achievers whose contributions often go unnoticed. To highlight this vital dimension, Maheshwari Vidya Pracharak Mandal (MVPM) instituted the MVPM Maheshwari Scholar Award in 2012. These awards honor exceptional scholastic excellence in advanced studies, celebrating scholars as role models and future thought leaders who enrich not only the Maheshwari community, but society at large.

Online applications are scrutinized from an initial pool of over 90.
